​AUDITION INFORMATION

Please bring two contrasting songs from a Rodgers & Hammerstein show or equivalent.

Be prepared to move (light dance) as part of the audition process.

REMEMBER: Casting is subjective and completely based on someone else’s opinion. Sometimes casting decisions are based on age, looks, height, or how you look next to other cast members. You will not get cast in every role you want and sometimes you won’t get cast at all. If you are not cast in this show, you should still celebrate the fact that you gave it your best shot. If this is not the right show for you, we hope to see you at the next audition.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsal schedule will be Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm - 9:30pm as well as Sunday afternoons in September. Most rehearsals will take place at Theatre Aurora - but some alternate locations will be required to avoid conflicts with the other productions.

Mandatory tech rehearsals for ALL cast and crew September 13-18

Tech week is the final week of the rehearsal process where all of the technical elements of the show are put in place. No actor may miss a rehearsal during tech week.​

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
Please note that all participants in our productions are required to become members of Theatre Aurora. Memberships are valid for the duration of the season and expire after our Annual General Meeting in June.

Membership fees are $20 for adults and $10 for youth and $30 for families.
​
You are not required to become a member to audition. When making casting decisions, preferential treatment is NOT given to existing Theatre Aurora members.
