Not shy of much in the theatrical world, Joey has performed many roles both on and offstage. Recent productions include:

The Laramie Project (Technical Director, Lighting Design, Video Design - Theatre Aurora)
Drop Dead! (Lighting Design - Newmarket Stage Co.)
RIOT 2012 (Technical Producer - RIOT/RTA)
Connections (Actor: Mickey - Theatre Starts)
The Cemetery Club (Lighting Design - Theatre Aurora)

He is going into his third year at Ryerson in the Radio and Television Arts program, as well as his third year as Theatre Aurora's Technical Director.

Joey recently won a Thea Award for Best Lighting Design in a Drama for his work on The Laramie Project.
